Plaza Huamanmarca

Huancayo central square was the foundation center of the city in 1572. For even more history, during the Pacific war, Chilean Army shot there Peruvian patriots who resisted to their progression. A monument, in the middle of the square, commemorates people who died for their country. Today, they are the most important administrative edifices.
